Welcome to the PDX is Cinematic Project.

I am Adam Blank, a photographer based out of Portland, Oregon and my goal is to show you snapshots of Portland, Oregon in the Cinematic Style of Photography.

What does this mean?

• cin·​e·​mat·​ic | \ ˌsi-nə-ˈma-tik - : of, relating to, suggestive of, or suitable for motion pictures or the filming of motion pictures. - In other words taking pictures that look like they could have come from movies.

I believe that everyone is the main character of their own movie with complex narratives, storylines, climaxes and low points. I help the city of Portland and its residents appear more cinematic.

I am tired of Portland, Oregon being portrayed in a negative way in media of all kinds. What if we as a community could show the world all the good things about Portland? Talking about the issues won’t solve them, so through my photography I plan to show Portland, Oregon in a more positive light while donating 10% of my projects profits to local Charites.
